This connection box provides a watertight assembly for connection of Type RG coaxial cables. It was designed for use as a topside connection box for shore-based coaxial cable feed to the ship. Watertight integrity is maintained by the caps when not in use. Two connector adapters are mounted to the cover of a 3 x 5 brass enclosure per MIL-E-24142/2. No NSN assigned.
